Astounding News as Joanne McGahon, one of Lost Chord’s Sopranos, was asked to sing in front of Her Majesty The Queen

Joanne McGahon, was honoured to sing at the 150th anniversary of Scripture Union, on Songs of Praise TV episode. On the 6th December 2017, Joanne McGahon, one of Lost Chord’s Sopranos, was honoured to be asked to sing in front of Her Majesty The Queen at the 150th anniversary of Scripture Union. Joanne led a new hymn written for the Jubilee celebrations accompanied by ‘All Soul’s Orchestra’.
The new hymn ‘God of Unchanging Grace’ was written by the Reverend Timothy Dudley Smith and the service took place at St. Mary’s Islington. The service was shown on BBC’s Songs of Praise in January 2018.

Joanne McGahon launches her album ‘The London Soprano’ Joanne regularly works for Lost Chord and plays an important part in training new musicians at Nightingale House in London, following on after auditions at the National Opera Studio.
