Wonderful fundraising concert in Bishops Storford.
Gary Branch one of our regular pianists travelled from Cardiff to perform on Saturday 2nd June in a wonderful fundraising concert in Bishops Storford, at the address of Peter and Helena Holmes.
It was a wonderful balmy evening at which Peter and Helena had organised and paid for the drinks and an exceptional spread after the concert.
The concert spilled out onto the patio and Gary’s performance of Schubert, Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt, Ravel and Gershwin was quite unbelievable.
Everyone was treated to an amazing evening Soire on a Steinway at the home of Peter & Helena.
We were all royally entertained and raised almost £2,000 with gift aid which will help to fund more than 20 sessions for people struggling with dementia impacting on the lives of at least 450 of the most vulnerable people in society.
Our eternal thanks must go to all those wonderful people who donated to the cause but also to our extremely generous hosts Peter & Helena Holmes and not least to an outstanding performance by Gary who gave up his time for free to perform on the night.
