Lost Chord UK Superhero Campaign

Lost Chord UK is asking our supporters to be a superhero and raise funds and awareness of the vital work that we do. People have taken up all different types of challenges from walking 10,000 steps a day, to swimming the equivalent of a marathon, even to meditating daily! Support the “Choir of Hope”

The Angel Ted ‘Choir of Hope’ Fund began with money given in lieu of flowers at the life celebration of Edward Glennon, affectionately known as ‘Father Ted’.

Donations to this fund continues to support ‘Choir of Hope’ sessions, providing vital support for people experiencing bereavement of any form, particularly from dementia. Your ongoing support ensures that the healing and transformative impact of music therapy continues to reach those who need it the most.

Gift aid

A huge benefit which is available to charities like ours, is Gift Aid, which means that if you are a tax payer, we can claim an additional 25% of your donation back from the government.

Since establishing the Gift Aid scheme, we have had a wonderful response from the general public. Simply ticking the Gift Aid box means we can claim back the tax you have already paid on that donation at no cost to you, which increases the value of your gift by an additional 25p in each pound. Reclaiming Gift Aid helps us fund more music sessions.

If you donate via Charites Aid Foundation they will take care of the Gift Aid as long as you tick the box. If you would like a gift aid declaration form please contact us and we will send one to you, alternatively you can download a Gift Aid form. Simply complete it and return it to the Lost Chord office and we will do the rest.

In kind donations

We hold a range of fundraising events throughout the year and are always on the lookout for any raffle or auction prizes; large or small. So whether you could auction some vouchers, tickets, signed items, a meal for two or simply a bottle of wine, we would be delighted to take any such items off your hands as a means of raising vital funds for our work.
