Lost Chord musician Warren receives Classic FM accolade
AWARD-winning concert pianist Warren Mailley-Smith – one of the team of professional musicians playing with leading South Yorkshire dementia charity Lost Chord – is playing to national audience as his latest album was selected as Drive Time Album of the Week on national radio station Classic FM.
Warren, who has received more than 30 invitations to perform for the Royal Family at Buckingham Palace, Highgrove House and Sandringham, also regularly plays at Lost Chord events, providing vital musical stimulation for people living with dementia in care homes and day centres both across the region and nationally.
“We are delighted that Warren’s album Rhapsody in Blue has been selected by Classic FM as their Drive Time Album of the Week,” said Lost Chord Chief Executive Helena Muller.
