Anston Stitch & Sew Group
The ‘Anston Stitch and Sew Group’ laboured for weeks to produce a magnificent bedspread, which was raffled by Sandra Blockley MBE, raising £850, to pay for up to nine sessions in Alzheimer’s Memory Cafes, impacting on more than 400 people with dementia and their carers. Sandra started fundraising when her daughter died of ovarian cancer and raised money for the first Driver Syringe to be used in Cervical Cancer treatment. Her fundraising has since gone on in leaps and bounds. We are delighted that she is now helping to raise funds for Lost Chord.
