BBC Radio 4 Appeal by Lesley Garrett

Lost Chord has secured a BBC Radio 4 Appeal this year. We really are lucky that Lesley Garrett CBE is making the appeal at Broadcasting House, for help to alleviate the impact of dementia.

Tune in on Sun 23rd Dec in the morning at 7.54 and the evening at 21.26 and again on Thurs 27th Dec at 15.27 in the afternoon.

There is no cure for dementia and very little effective treatment. It is the biggest challenge of the 21st century and only a 10th of the money spent on cancer research is spent on dementia. So we can’t possibly turn our backs on those people that we all know who are struggling with this deplorable disease.
