Sir Cliff Richard and Lesley Garrett CBE performed at Lost Chord’s flagship event celebrating our 20th Anniversary in July 2019
Lost Chord was proud to host a spectacular evening of celebration and song to mark our 20th Anniversary at Lincoln’s Inn ‘The Great Hall’ in London. To make this an extra special occasion we were delighted that Lesley Garrett CBE was joined by none other than our Patron Sir Cliff Richard OBE.
This was a once in a lifetime opportunity, to be at dinner with Sir Cliff and Lesley Garrett, to celebrate Lost Chord’s 20th Anniversary with a individual performances by both musical icons. Lost Chord musicians also performed throughout the meal.
This black tie event was held on Monday 15th July 2019 starting with a drinks reception at 6.30pm. A delicious 3 course meal, complete with wine, coffees and petit fours was to follow. We are grateful for the kind permission of the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn to hold the event in their Great Hall (click here to find the venue).
Opened by Queen Victoria in 1845, the Great Hall is the largest hall of any of the Inns and is considered to be one of the most distinguished buildings designed by Philip Hardwick working in the Tudor Revival style. On the North Wall is a huge and magnificent fresco executed by G.F. Watts, the Pre-Raphaelite painter, showing the world’s law givers from Moses to Edward I.
This was a unique opportunity to see Sir Cliff at close quarters in an intimate and sumptuous environment. This was an event that will be talked about for years to come.
