LCUK supporter, Val Rees, organised a fundraising night for Lost Chord UK Charity, with the Typically Tina tribute show which includes an outstanding live band and very energetic dancers. The event was a tribute to the late Tina Turner and was held in October in Orwell, near Royston, Hertfordshire. Tickets sold out within 2 weeks, filling Orwell Village Hall with 150 people and raising £1,000 for LCUK.
“I’m beyond thrilled that we made such a profit. I put fliers about Lost Chord on every table, and during the evening several people came to share stories about family members with dementia and to give me donations.” said Val Rees.
